Parents,
Winter is hanging on, but spring is not far away. We have enjoyed a wonderful winter here at Westminster Children’s Center. In January we welcomed two new teachers, Rodi who is doing wonderful in the Infant Cottage and Francine who has made a home in the Older Infant Room. Both teachers come with plenty of experience and education and have been an asset to Westminster.
Currently we are looking to open up our Preschool-1 Room. The only thing that is holding this exciting happening is finding the right teacher for our children. When we do find that teacher she will spend her first week getting to know the children and setting up her classroom. Then we will have a Grand Opening of the Preschool-1 Room.
On March 2nd, we will be joining the nation in the Read Across America Day, we have a full library of wonderful books, come and read to your child’s room with one of our books or bring your favorite book to read. Everyone is welcome through out the day.
Picture Day is coming up on March 25th, we will be using a local Photography vendor. So let me know how you like the pictures and the packages.
On March 23rd we will be closed for our Professional Growth Day. In the spring NPSS brings their company wide training to our school and everyone in the NPSS family gets to see what a beautiful center we have.
